Founded in 2014, Save The Hip Hop Culture™️ started simply as an Instagram page to showcase some of Hip Hop’s early pioneers and contributors. This happening after noticing our own nephews taking a liking to rap music, it was only right to shed light as to where it all came from; The Streets/Community.
Noticing that the youth gravitated towards this information, it helped us get the courage to make something out of nothing, the same way Hip Hop did.
Fast forward a year later, Save The Hip Hop Culture™️ has held graffiti workshops for the youth, both independently as well as through city events, held in store performances and meet and greets, along with a few Hip Hop shows as well.
Today, we stay committed to preserving the elements of Hip Hop in a money driven industry that easily forgets its roots.
